Melody Reference

Melody came into this world through the wishing of her mother and father, who years before came to meet each other and instantly fell in love. Melody's mother came from Roseacre and was attending some businnes in the main city of Chrysanthos, where she came across her father, a knight who carried out city guard duty. From then on, Melody's mother came as often as she could to meed the guard since she was instantly taken in by him. Soon after they started living together in Roseacre, since it wasn't too far from the capital for her father. Then after a few years of been settled together, they finally decided to have a child and not long after they were blessed with their bud.

From this, they were blessed with a child whom they called Melody. Melody grew up in Roseacre, living a care free life and adapting to the high standard environment around her, which was the main cause for her 'snooty' behaviour. Her parents seeing this, decided it would be best that for some of the year (Spring and Summer), Melody and her mother would spend their time in Goldfair. Here Melody's mother's brother lived with his own family, since he wanted to take care of the old family flower farm and fruit orchards and continue to nourish the land with their ripe harvest. They hoped that bringing her up here would help her understand values and that this was how to live and bahave, which worked to some extent. From then on, every year she came and helped with the work on the farm, which she loved since it gave her freedom and power from the whispers of Roseacre. As she got older, she was given more responsibilities which included traveling all over to deliver their goods, which included Citremery and Obrille. Visiting these places, she found many new wonders, which included the great knight academy which led her to ponder about her future and what she would do.

Once she reached her 20's she decided to talk to her parents about her problems. She loved helping at the farm with her family and the rich fruit and flowers they produced from them, since it also allowed her to travel to the many corners of the continient and explore all the wonders as well as create new experiences. However, she was also interested in becoming a knight, mainly sure to her father's influence over the years since she heard about his amazing feats and what knights could do. But she knew knights didn't always have as much freedom, which troubled her greatly. But also since she wanted to put her skills to good use, and either way they would be useful, plus she wanted to do something useful and not really stay in Roseacre. After the long talk they came to a conclusion on what to do; stay one or two more years at the farm and see how it goes, otherwise head to Obrille and join the knights academy to train. 

After that, once Winter had ended she headed back to the family farm in Goldfair to continue her work and finally figure out what she wanted to do with her life before she felt like it was too late, even if she was only young. So, even though she was going with the plan she decided with her parents, she would train herself as well as work to see which she liked best. From then on, and throughout her time at the farm she experienced as much as she could to see how she wanted to live her life. From travelling and being busy in the fields and orchards, to watching the knights train and so on when she could. Yet she had so much more to learn before she decided.
